one are the days when sex toys were merely used by single women or men to pleasure themselves. In today’s time, these devices which are primarily used to facilitate human sexual pleasure have entered the bedroom of couples, who are making the most of them to enhance their sexual experiences
As per a 2009 study undertaken by researchers of Indiana University, majority of couples use sex toys during sex. After studying a group of people, the researchers found out that almost 81 percent of women and 91 percent of men, who had used a vibrator at some point in their sex life had done so with their partner. And, this conclusion is a complete contradiction to theories which suggest that sex toys like dildos and vibrators are mainly used by singles across the world.
Another study conducted by the researchers of University of Guelph in Ontario, who surveyed 49 men in heterosexual relationships, between the ages of 25 and 38, to find out the effect of a sex toy being introduced in their bedrooms made a startling revelation- not only were most men not intimidated by introduction of sex toys in their bedrooms, but they also seemed welcoming when it came to these toys. And, that’s courtesy the fact that new-age couples have no qualms in getting some additional help when it comes to making their sex lives rocking.
Michael Reece and Debra Herbenick from Indiana University, back in 2009 concluded that men and women who used vibrators reported fewer problems with sexual function.
They also found out that while women were reported using vibrators most during masturbation (46 percent) and least during intercourse (37 percent), men were more likely to use vibrators with a partner during sex play or foreplay (40 percent).
