How to take dietary supplements and medications

Though we are better off getting our nutrients from healthy foods and beverages, dietary supplements can fill a nutritional gap. But it can be confusing to know when you should take certain nutrients, especially minerals that can bind, or chelate, with many medications. It also can be difficult to time your supplements around meals and medications.
