Natural Grocers opened its fifth natural food store in Oklahoma and its second store in Edmond June 30. The store offers new, healthy food choices and nutrition guidance that improve the overall health and well-being of the Edmond community.
Whether looking for a nutritional supplement to fill a specific need or wanting to purchase one of five different types of kale offered in the produce department, everything healthy can be found at Natural Grocers.
“The founders have five principles that are still followed today including meeting the nutritional needs and education the community and a commitment to their employees,” said Michael Kraemer, store manager.
The store, a family business, first opened in 1955 when owners Margaret and Phillip Isely went door-to-door selling vitamins. It later expanded to a grocery store providing resources that people need to live a life of optimum health and vitality even when facing health challenges.
