Meditation is much more than a path to Zen. It can be a path to the highly charged orgasmic sexual experience. Do you need some more convincing? Well-known kundalini yoga expert Raman Mishra explains how meditation can work wonders in bed.
You will be amazed to find yourself sexually primed with meditation. It will work on the kundalini chakra (chakra or energy centre located at the base of the spine between the anus and sexual organs). Meditation will open up the kundalini chakra that will enhance your sexual energy. You will not only be able to last much longer during intercourse but will have more power and control over your orgasms.
Watch the stress levels drop
Your work, money and host of other issues may stress you out, and you cannot feel aroused when you are stressed out. Stress increases cortisol, the increase in which reduces sexual drive. Stress also leads to erectile dysfunction. Meditation reduces stress, relaxes your body and sets you in the mood for sex. When the cortisol levels drop, the brain releases more dopamine that help to increase the intensity of the orgasm.
Focus all your energies on the Big O
Nobody likes sleeping with a distracted lover. Distraction can stop you from enjoying sex as much as you would otherwise. It can be difficult to have an orgasm if you focus on tomorrow’s to-do list. Meditation makes you more aware and helps you stay focused on the sensations your body experience in your body. It helps you stay in the present moment so that you enjoy the sex more.
Be better and last longer
Focusing on your breath while meditating will boost your sexual energy. The deep breathing circulates oxygen throughout the body that increases your desire for sex. While having sex, energy builds up in the pelvis region. Meditation will help distribute that energy in the body, helping you control ejaculation and have the most intense experience.
Make your partner the centre of your universe
Meditation helps you to be compatible with your partner in every way. It will help you break the ice with your partner and deepen the intimacy. You will able to communicate your sexual thoughts and desires. In fact, meditating together with your partner will allow you to set aside all your differences. It will help you be attentive towards each other’s bodies during sex and help you feel more connected as a couple.
Practice this meditation technique with your partner:
Sit in sukhasana or easy pose by facing your partner. Keep your eyes closed and begin by focussing on your breath. Observe your breath for about five minutes while you both breathe rhythmically. Shift your focus to your partner’s breath and you will naturally synchronise breathing patterns. Now project your thoughts on each other’s energy fields. If you want to focus on any thought, in particular, you can concentrate on each other’s private thoughts.
